Stewardship As Ownership

DESCRIPTIONAs part of the Michigan Research and Discovery Scholars (MRADS) I worked as a research assistant with UofM lecturers De Peter Yi and Laura Marie Peterson of 1+1+ Architects. I dove into understanding Detroit’s land bank, helped conduct interviews with residents and community organizations, and documented the rapidly changing environment that is Detroit.

Our exploration into these ideas and the people making positive change led to a piece titled Stewardship as Ownership which was selected and published in Log 54, renowned architecture journal published by the Anyone Corporation.
